I am the coordinator of a dog meetup group in Upstate South Carolina. I heard about this place through a friend and decided our group should go check it out because they allow on-leash dogs. This is a family owned operation. Day passes are $5 (children under 2 are free), Annual passes are $40 or $90 for a family. The trail has a creek running through it. They DO allow the dogs to play in the creek! There are also farm animals on site that you can visit, with permission. Upon entering, you’ll sign in at the sharecropper house, which is also dog-friendly and houses snacks + souvenirs. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to escape the hustle & bustle of every day life, this place is where it’s at!

We went for the first time today and had the most magical experience, my 3 year old was so entertained by all of the little decorations and games he walked the whole mile on his own. We played in the creek for about 45 minutes and the best part it wasn't over ran by people it was so peaceful and serine. The couple who owns this land and farm are both so charming and welcoming. I hope this remains a hidden gem 💎.

Such an incredible place! The owners are amazing! Animals, nature, history, trails, and a creek! What a gem! I want to share this place with so many, but at the same time... It's nice that's it's not over populated. Would like to keep it to myself! 😉This place is great and unique! You won't be disappointed at all. Check them out!

Welcome to Silva Terra, a historical Piedmont farm and nature park offering experiences to peak your sense of adventure.
Our nature park offers over 30 acres to explore with trails that wander over 2 miles through mature forests and along a clear, sandy-bottom creek. Most importantly, we invite you to bring your curiosity and explore!

Diverse Landscapes: Stroll through our well-maintained trails that encounter towering tree groves, privet coves, terraces, historical points of interest and meandering waterways.

Picnic Tables/Benches and Seating Areas: Pack a lunch and enjoy one of our seating areas or bring a blanket to put along any trail. Find one of our outdoor recliners or hammocks to take it a step further and relax amongst the trees.

Farm History: Enjoy our farm and learn about its past as a historical cotton/soybean farm on terraced land.

Native Plants: Get to know our local flora by looking for labelled plants that indicate which plants are native to the Piedmont area and which ones are considered invasive.

Immersive Activities:  Take part in a scavenger hunt (for all ages) or choose one of our forest activities to help encourage your sense of adventure! Be sure to visit many of the play stations located around our woods as well.

Day Pass and Annual Pass:

Children under 2    Free
$5 per person
$40 annual pass for one
